Please don't tell the Other Mother...

...she would be so upset if she knew I was here.

I can't speak since she created me without a voice, but I can still write. Ever since Coraline escaped, I've been all alone in this horrible world the Other Mother has made. I've taken a few other forms before this one; I'm the one that Other Mother always uses to create an 'Other' friend for all the children she's lured here. But Coraline was different from the other children that came here. I didn't want to see her end up like all of them did, behind that mirror where they were never seen again. I think maybe that's why I've kept this form for so long, even though...it's really not mine.

I'm glad that she got away, and managed to save her family and the ghost children, even if it was too late for me. I've never had real eyes to see the kind of world that she, and all of you, live in. I only hope that she, and the other, Real Wybie that can talk and everything, are happy.

I only wish that I still had someone to call my friend, here, but the Other Mother is so angry with me that I fear I will never have one again...

Please don't tell her I'm here. If she finds out, it will probably be the last of me...

I wanted to more than anything, but...because I was created by the Other Mother, as a part of her world, I would have disintegrated if I had left without her magic to keep me in tact. That was why I started dissipating when I helped Coraline escape, because I made her angry...
